Rachel Johnson
I know about the addictive nature of religions delusion. It is in our best interest to speak out about the atrocities that occur under and in the name of all religions. Humanity can do better than stone age archaic gods, that bring death and destruction with them.
Science has been clumped with the “atheist agenda, but the two are equal and separate. It is not the intent of science to prove there is no god. It is only to provide rational answers to questions. Not all atheists love science, some just realize science is right. It explains things on much more rational terms than religion can. So it is more useful for atheists, who are rational and logical thinkers to know it and study the applications of the subject.
I happen to be a studying Cell Biologist. I want to light the future with rationality, and skeptic thinking.
All “men” should be skeptical, of religious “evidence”, because it is based upon a book which provides no evidence outside of itself. Instead of making claims, which have no proof, religion should look for real answers from evidence. Religion has convoluted the minds of millions, and this delusion is a tragedy.
My goal here is to provide facts. To challenge religion on the basis of those facts, and to extend that challenge to my fellow atheists. We can shine a light on ignorance with the tools science has provided, and so I write this blog in hopes of promoting those tools and offering you more insight into the world of science.

Atheism is the way…. I was forced to a catholic in Spain until I could think for my self at 15.

Everyone is born ATHEIST. But, they are indoctrinated to different religions by the society. This should be stopped.

I guess, if God gives us a brain to think, we should use it to think and question the traditions and authorities 🙂
July 25, 2012 at 4:33 am
Considering his entire point is that we should question tradition – which is in agreement with your entire statement of purpose by the way – how on Earth is he appealing to absurdity?

All humans…

Science is how Atheists choose to make their decisions. It’s the answer to the christians question what do we believe. Although we don’t believe in science. We understand science. Science is what has brought all the comforts of modern life, while religion has brought nothing.

Okay there is no way to not believe science and understand it. How could you dismiss gravity is true while it still applying to you?
August 8, 2012 at 1:37 am
What I mean by believing is that science is not a belief system.
July 15, 2013 at 5:38 am
‘Tis folly, not faith, to toss a rope skyward in hopes of escaping earth’s bonds.
October 10, 2013 at 8:22 pm
yes, i agree with you, science is not a faith.
December 23, 2013 at 12:30 am
but feminism is. when have you ever seen balanced feminist promoted facts?
December 23, 2013 at 1:10 am
Since he knows this one. Are you out of your mind?
December 23, 2013 at 12:27 am
Rachel, I am an atheist and very big into science but this “there is no way to not believe science and understand it” is one of the most un intelligent comments I have read or heard.
You are saying all of science is so simple it is beyond belief someone could not understand it. Do you understand quantum physics? can you, without looking it up, explain gravity?
Also to be a feminist and an atheist is a paradox. Atheists stand by not believing anything until compelled to by fact and reason. Feminism, like religion, starts with a belief and work back to find facts that support it. Both are not capable of that. `feminism is a faith based ideology and has done massive harm to society, just like religion.
Feminism believes a man taking risks and facing danger to provide for others and to keep them safe, while a woman cares for the home and children in oppression.
I believes that, out of the two genders, the only one discriminated positively for is oppressed.
It says the true statement that ” those in privilege never see it” but ignores that men have, wrongly said they are privileged as a gender, but feminists have NEVER said women are or were privileged.
Feminism has distorted reality and suppressed truth.
People even try to say it is about equality of the sexes, which it has never been. At best and not something I would critisize, it fought for women’s rights selectively…. only where it was an upgrade.
Agree or disagree, feminism is faith based, atheism is fact based. Feminism is as alien to atheist thinking as mormonism.

that argument is not one against belief. the appeal to consequence makes no difference to whether it is true or not. does the harm nuclear weapons do deny they exist and work?
August 6, 2012 at 1:03 pm
All are born as human and the brain is like an empty disk. After that the parents and social life help unwanted religious believes and rites in their mind.
December 23, 2013 at 12:28 am

Hi, Great site. Great writing. Would you consider doing a review of my bestselling novel, The Transhumanist Wager, an atheistic, pro-feminist novel that is also about science? Kindle copies are free today on Amazon or I can email another digital version anytime.
Thanks, Zoltan Istvan

woo, this feels pretty great after living in an unabashedly didactic Southern shelter for like a year after serving a petty county jail sentence in the same area… as apathetic as I’ve been inclined to be about most generally polemic issues as of late, I must say that spontaneously deciding to read through some of this blog after a few hours of random searching has attenuated my latent tendency to question the tangible value of maintaining an earnest, open discourse regarding a problem so incorrigibly and discouragingly entrenched in virtually every aspect of society to date. Admittedly, being literally forced to actively abase myself in the exclusive presence of a panoply of stereotypically debaucherous criminals on the basis of beliefs I cautiously refrained from divulging voluntarily until the first time I failed to lie convincingly is almost certainly contributing to the serendipity, I think it helps to affirm that being proactive about opposing freaking savagery is not only completely justified, but absolutely salient and necessary, if only to enable posterity to benefit from a gradual reduction and prospective abrogation of the presently ubiquitous acceptance of the kind of overwhelming, mass bullying that religion almost always ends up being no matter how hard people on both sides try to mitigate the very real, arbitrarily adverse and dangerous implications of such irrationality preponderating in a purportedly moralistic society. ugh sry bros didn’t mean to write a guest essay i get loopy when i try to communicate electronically idfk why

My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find a lot of your post’s to be exactly I’m looking for.
Does one offer guest writers to write content to suit your needs?
I wouldn’t mind composing a post or elaborating on most of the subjects you write in relation to here.
Again, awesome site!

December 23, 2013 at 12:34 am
why do feminists always censor?
December 23, 2013 at 1:08 am
So that you don’t get to abuse people. I am anti-abuse. But then you don’t know what an original movement feminist is.
You know the kid of feminist who is anti alimony, pro men having custody.
Learn your feminism and who carries the label before you open your mouth.

religion and God are two separate entities. our human perception is limited to our senses. every thing can not be proved objectively. we need to survive with some code of conduct and behaviour to lead happy life on planet. the entire universe is functioning in a very rhythmic intelligent manner. feelings of heart and the language of heart can not be scientifically derived, it has to be realised. please educate me in this subject.
